These terms govern your use of usacoolingtechs.com and the referral service operated by USA Cooling Techs ("we", "us"). By using this site or calling a number shown on it, you agree to these terms.
1. What this service is
USA Cooling Techs is a free service to assist homeowners in connecting with local service providers. We connect callers with independent HVAC providers. We are not an HVAC contractor, we do not perform heating or cooling work, and we do not employ the technicians who perform it.
2. Providers are independent
Every provider we connect you with is an independent third party. We do not control their work, pricing, scheduling, staffing, licensing or insurance. Any contract for services is formed between you and the provider directly. We are not a party to that contract.
3. No warranty on provider work
We do not warrant or guarantee any work performed by any provider. We make no representation about the quality, timeliness, safety, pricing or outcome of that work, and we give no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose in respect of it. Any warranty on the work is the provider's alone.
4. Your responsibility to verify
It is your responsibility to verify that any contractor you hire furnishes the license and insurance required for the work being performed, to check references, and to satisfy yourself about scope and price before work begins.
5. Site content
Content on this site, including price ranges, is general information for planning purposes. It is not a quote, an offer, or professional advice, and it may be incomplete or out of date. Final pricing is set by the independent provider.
6. Calls
Calls may be recorded, monitored and routed through third-party service providers. Your phone company's standard call rates may apply. Our handling of call information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use this site or the phone numbers on it for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not submit false information or place calls on behalf of someone without their consent.
- Do not scrape, copy or republish site content without written permission.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its text, layout, graphics and marks are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss, injury, property damage, cost or dispute arising out of work performed or not performed by a provider. Our total liability arising out of or relating to this site or the referral service will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of this site, your breach of these terms, or your dealings with any provider.
11. Third-party links
We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site we link to.
12. Changes
We may change these terms or the site at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which USA Cooling Techs is established, without regard to conflict of law rules.
